Abstract

In this paper, we prove an existence fixed point theorem for a generalized nonlinear mapping in complete convex metric spaces. We introduce a family iterations to approximate fixed points of the generalized nonlinear mapping and discuss the effectiveness of these iterations. Some examples are also given to illustrate our results.
