Numerical Solution of a 3-D Advection-Dispersion Model for Pollutant Transport

Abstract
This paper describes a mathematical model for transport of a pollutant in a street tunnel. The three-dimensional advection-di®usion (advection-dispersion) equation is solved by using a finite difference (FTCS) method. Results show the concentration of pollutant within the tunnel for various pollution source configurations.
