Fixed Point and Coincidence Point Theorems for Expansive Mappings in Partial b-Metric Spaces

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a class of expansive mappings on partial
b-metric spaces and prove fixed point and common fixed point theorems for a pair
of those maps on partial b-metric spaces. We also establish a coincidence point
theorem for two expansive maps on partial b-metric spaces. The results generalize
and extend some results in literature.
