Convergence of Strictly Asymptotically Pseudo-Contractions

Abstract

In the present paper, we first prove a weak convergence theorem for strictly pseudo contractive mapping using modified Mann algorithm. This convergence is in general not strong, therefore as a generalization of modified Mann algorithm we propose a new (CQ) algorithm for strictly pseudo contractive mappings and obtain a strong convergence theorem for this class of mappings.
