Convergence of Nondiagonal Sequences of Linear Pad ́e-Orthogonal Approximants

Abstract

A convergence in capacity of nondiagonal sequences of linear Pad ́e-orthogonal approximants corresponding to a measure supported on a general compact subset of the complex plane is proved. This result generalizes the result of S.P. Suetin which was the convergence in capacity of nondiagonal sequences of linear Pad ́e-orthogonal approximants corresponding to a measure supported on a finite interval.
