Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce the sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of common fixed points for pair of self-maps satisfying a generalized $\int\limits_{\varphi }^{\psi }$ weakly contractive condition involving C-class functions in the setting of complete metric spaces. Our results extends and improve many recent results in the literature. As application of our results, we obtain several interesting consequence results of fixed point theorems. Example and remarks are also given to justify the importance and usability of our results.
