On the Stability of a Cubic Functional Equation

Abstract

In this paper, we establish the general solution of the following cubic functional equation

$f(x+3y)-3f(x+y)+3f(x-y)-f(x-3y)=48f(y)$

and examine its generalized Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability problem on Banach spaces.
