Abstract

In this paper, we propose an inertial one step-type projection and contraction algorithm for solving  monotone variational inequality problems. We established a strong convergence theorems under mild assumptions imposed on the underlying operator. Furthermore, we give  numerical experiments to illustrate the inertial - effect   and  the computational performance of our proposed algorithm in comparison with the existing state of the art algorithms.
