Abstract

In this paper, aposteriori error estimates for the generalized overlapping domaindecomposition method with respect to the mixed boundary condition fordiffusion equation is proved using the finite difference time schemecombined with finite element spatial approximation. In addition, a result ofasymptotic behavior in Sobolev norm is given via Benssoussan's algorithm.
