Abstract

In this paper, we prove $\Delta$-convergence theorems of the generalized Picard normal $S_5$-iterative process to approximate a fixed point for square $\alpha$-nonexpansive mappings. Moreover, we obtain some properties of such mappings on a nonempty subset of a hyperbolic space.
